EVA foam masterbatch is a color masterbatch with low density polyethylene and EVA as the carrier. The following aspects should be paid attention to in formula design.

    Choose organic pigment varieties with high tinting strength. Foamed plastics have a strong decolorizing effect due to the existence of fine bubbles, which is the main reason why foamed plastics products, especially high-rate foamed products, are rarely seen in dark products with bright colors. Choosing pigments with high tinting strength can help improve the color performance of foamed products.
    Choose organic pigment varieties with good dispersibility. It should be noted that the disadvantage of poor pigment dispersion is amplified during the EVA producing process, so the requirements for the dispersibility of the pigment are extremely high. As we all know, the same formula, such as the selected pigment has good dispersibility, and the masterbatch processed under the same conditions has good dispersibility, so choosing easily dispersible pigments to produce EVA masterbatch can achieve twice the result with half the effort. Choosing a pigment with good dispersibility is the first point. It is feasible to use the filtration pressure rise method to test the  dispersibility of the pigment.

    Pay attention to the selection of pigments under different process conditions. Depending on the production of EVA products, there are different foaming processes. The low foaming process is generally a molding process at 180°C for 10 minutes. The available organic pigments are Pigment Yellow 12, Pigment Yellow 14, Pigment Yellow 83; Pigment Red 53:1, Pigment Red 48:2; Pigment Blue 15, Pigment Blue 15:3; Pigment Green 7; Pigment Violet 23.
